Occidental Kush (Mystery Cross)

The “accidental Occidental Kush” is as unique as it gets. The mother is confirmed—an SFV OG Kush preserved through tissue culture since the early 2000s. The father, however, remains a mystery.

The seeds were first assumed to be selfed due to a light leak, but with more than half germinating as males, selfing was ruled out. Upon further inspection of the grow space, it became clear that unfiltered air had been pulling in stray pollen from outside. In a region surrounded by growers, one of those airborne pollens made its way in and created something unexpected.

The result? A true mystery cross that proves sometimes the best strains aren’t planned at all—they happen by accident. Occidental Kush embodies this serendipity, carrying the strength of SFV OG with an unknown twist that makes it entirely its own.
